The Pacific crossing keeps throwing challenges our way — rough weather, struggling with a less-than-helpful crew, and now a snapped main halyard. Fixing it turned into the most intense moment of our passage so far, but also one that reminded us just how strong we are as a team. Out here, every obstacle is a chance to learn and grow. Even when it’s scary, there’s something empowering about facing the unknown and figuring it out together. Between the storms, the exhaustion, and the problem-solving, we’re slowly settling into life at sea — and even finding joy in the little victories along the way. Come along for this leg of the adventure as we push onward across the vast Pacific, finding our rhythm, relying on teamwork, and discovering what it truly means to sail an ocean.

Our adventure across the Pacific continues, and it’s been a wild ride so far! The storms are still chasing us, the seas are rough, and even the simplest things—like cooking—are a challenge. We’re also doing our best to teach our new crew member, though it’s proving harder than expected.
But it’s not all struggle—dolphins visit and lift our spirits, Tim and I are finding our rhythm as a team, and little by little we’re settling into life at sea. The weather is finally starting to calm down… just in time for us to face a whole new challenge: weaving our way through the enormous Chinese fishing fleet in the middle of the night.
Come join us for storms, dolphins, laughs, frustrations, and the real ups and downs of crossing an ocean. This is sailing life—raw, beautiful, and unforgettable.
🌊 Our Pacific crossing has officially begun! In this episode, we take you along on our first couple of days at sea as we set sail into the vast Pacific Ocean. From the thrill of catching our first fish 🐟 to the intensity of a powerful electrical storm ⚡, these early days remind us just how unpredictable — and beautiful — ocean life can be.
