They say the best laid plans often go awry — and this week, that couldn't be more true. What was supposed to be a smooth sail turned into a challenging few days when strong, unforecasted winds hit, forcing us to change our route and rethink our plans.

We push through some rough sailing, tackle essential boat work to prepare for a bigger passage to a new country, and take in the crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas one last time. As always, boat life isn't just adventure — it's real life too.

From unpredictable weather to everyday problems, we're taking it all as it comes. Come along as we navigate the highs, the lows, and everything in between on this final leg of our Bahamas adventure.

So much wind! The Bahamas continue to keep us on our toes! This week we juggle some much-needed boatwork while strong winds test our anchor. We also push through a rough sail in less-than-ideal weather—definitely not the smoothest ride we've had! Things get extra interesting thanks to some, not-so-competent boat neighbors—never a dull moment out here! We also make a stop in Clarence Town, a quiet little spot full of charm.

To balance out the chaos, we take some time to cook up one of our all-time favorite meals aboard—comfort food hits different when you're rocking at anchor. With just a little more time left in the Bahamas, we’re soaking in every bit of this adventure. Come along for the ride!

After a whirlwind week of running non-stop errands in Miami — from provisioning chaos to chasing down parts — we’re finally making our escape. With the to-do list (mostly) conquered, we cast off and set sail… right into some less-than-friendly weather. What was supposed to be a smooth departure turned into a challenging passage as squalls rolled in and the seas got rough. In true boat life fashion, we had to adapt fast, hold our course, and ride it out.
